The Professors of “No Pain Labor & Delivery-China” visited our hospital and highly praised the labor analgesia in department of anesthesiology.

On October 21st, Professor Edward Wells, who came from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, professor Tao Weike,who came from the parkland hospital and Lisa Scheid - assistant professor, who came from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston visited Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Professor Shen Xiaofeng, the chief of Anesthesiology, gave a warm welcome to them. Accompanied by professor Xu Shiqin, they visited the obstetric operation room, ICU, delivery room, LDR (Labor-Delivery-Recovery), neonatal swimming therapy center, neonatal department, fetal University and so on. They highly appreciated and praised the facilities, technical level and management level of the labor analgesia in our hospital. Subsequently, Professor Shen ,Professor Xu and other experts discussed about the problems and researches on analgesia deeply during the last few years in the conference room. Both sides expect academic exchanges and cooperation in the further.
