Attending the International Maternal Child Health Care Forum and training at the Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Education (CAPE)

        From October 5 to October 14, Dr. Long and Dr. Jia participated the International Maternal Child Health Care Forum, which held in San Francisco and Palo Alto, California, USA.

        This forum focused on hospital administration management system, risk management in Obstetrics and Gynecology, building a state-of-the-art hospital at CPMC. Training content includes “Modern concept on Obstetrical Care”, “Surgical management of postpartum hemorrhage”, “hypertension and preeclampsia management”, “The role of anesthesiology on pain control and critical management” and “The Triage concept and utilization”. Also training regarding management of obstetrical emergency skills at the Center for Advanced Pediatric and Perinatal Education (CAPE). CAPE is Stanford Medicine’s full service provider of the resources necessary for training in the biomedical sciences and research in areas including, but not limited to adult learning, human performance, patient safety, quality of care, efficiency of care delivery and risk management. Through this forum, we gained considerable knowledge regarding advanced modern maternal and child health care in USA.
