Work as a Research Fellow at BIDMC for Four and a Half Months in U.S.A

 

Dr. Caijuan Li, attending doctor of the Anesthesia Department of Women’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, was financial supported by the Provincial Clinical Specialties Funds to work as a research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center(BIDMC) from September 24, 2019 to February 8, 2020 in Boston, U.S.A following professor Yunping Li.
The BIDMC is one of the nation’s preeminent academic medical centers, committed to providing excellence in clinical care, teaching, research and community outreach. Professor Yunping Li is the leader of the Obstetric Anesthesia Department, who has devoted herself to the clinical research of obstetric anesthesia, especially in the research of labor analgesia. She is one of the main organizers of the “Labor analgesia in China” and has made great contributions to the development of obstetrics. Yunping Li and her team did excellent work in clinical work, teaching and research.
Dr. Caijuan Li has taken part in the ultrasound training course, including cardiac, pulmonary and shock diagnosis, which are become supper useful surrounding perinatal period in recent years. In addition, Dr. Caijuan Li mainly participated two clinical researches – “Dexmedetomidiine used for preventing shock after -C-section” and “Relationship between high dose of Heparin and Time to Epidural”. The standardized research process we learned from the BIDMC not only broadened Dr. Caijuan Li’s horizon but will also bring great improvement in the research work of Anesthesia Department.
