In order to promote the safety of vaginal delivery with scared uterine after cesarean section in our Chinese women, reduce the cesarean section rate effectively, improve maternal and child safety, further improve the quality of labor analgesia, we invited professeor Lingqun Hu from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, the founder and executive director of the “No Pain Labor & Delivery-Global Health Initiative”, to our hospital for a short -term academic communication on June 13.

Professor hu first visited the department of anesthesiology and the delivery room again, then guided the practice in the delivery room, put forward higher requirements and suggestion on the construction of the modern delivery room , and also gave us the latest ideas and concepts.

Afternoon, professor hu introduced the latest progress about obstetric anesthesia in the United States to our anesthesiologists and obstetricians and midwives, and made the detailed explanation about the safety of vaginal delivery and labor analgesia with scared uterine, and we had a heated discussion at the lecture with the theme of " vaginal trail-delivery with scar uterus-multidisciplinary management paradigm of the modern delivery room" .

The communication updates the original concept of knowledge,  provides a new breakthrough for reducing cesarean section rate, and improves the safety of vaginal delivery with scared uterine.
