Attending 2018 ACMG annual meeting and visiting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
From April the 10th to 14th, 2018, the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) annual meeting is held in Charlotte, US. Dr. Dong Liang from Department of Prenatal Diagnosis in our hospital attended this academic meeting, and presented his work entitled ‘Pregnancy outcomes of cell-free DNA screening: large-scale follow-up data from a single clinical center’ in the poster presentation section.
After the meeting, Dr. Liang went to Philadelphia to visit Dr. Yiran Guo in Center for Applied Genetics in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). They exchanged ideas on medical genetics, and setup up a bridge for the collaborations from the two institutions in the future.
