From May the 9^th to 13^th, 2018, the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP)’s 50^th annual meeting is held in Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Miami, Florida, US. I was lucky to attend this academic meeting, and presented our work entitled ‘A Dose-finding Study: Spinal Ropivacaine for Cesarean Section in a Large Randomized Asian Population’ in the poster presentation section.

During the meeting, it is a great honor for me as one of the members of Chinese delegation to attend the Chinese Symposium on Obstetric Anesthesia. The Chinese experts have expounded the recent research and hot issues of obstetric anesthesia in the international meeting.
