From JULY the 8th to 11th, 2018, the 22nd International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy (ISPD) meeting was held in ANTWERP, BELGIUM. ISPD was founded in 1996 to address the need to advance the medical practice and science of prenatal diagnosis and therapy by bringing together a global multidisciplinary group of medical and scientific professionals with interests and expertise in a diverse array of clinical and research aspects of prenatal diagnosis and fetal care. Dr. JINGJING ZHANG from Department of Prenatal Diagnosis in our hospital was invited to attend this academic meeting, and presented her work entitled ‘Peptidomic analysis of fetal heart tissue for identification of endogenous peptides involved in tetralogy of fallot’.
During the meeting, Dr. ZHANG communicated with other professionals from multiple disciplines, such as medical geneticists, genetic counselors and laboratory directors. And Dr. ZHANG promoted the knowledge of prenatal genetics, screening, diagnosis and therapy globally.
